All classes are open to the public, do not require registration and are FREE. Our goal is to provide information that will help maximize yields. The In & Out Gardens’ family has decades of experience in indoor and outdoor gardening, but we are always learning and evolving. From beginners to master gardeners, we welcome all questions as well as answers.
At In & Out Gardens we have a simple yet effective approach. You are welcome to come to one class or all classes. Thanks and can't wait to see you soon!
At the end of each class we will have an open forum for questions and answers.
Class One - March 16th @ 6-8pm: Propagation / Environmental Control
“Every step is important and every detail makes a difference”
Quantity and quality is our goal!!!
We will have a demonstration on propagation (cloning). Taking cuttings in a traditional manner with a tray and humidity dome; including different mediums that can be used with them. We will talk about temperature, lighting, and the different types and styles of rooting hormones and cloning solutions. We will also demonstrate how to use a cloning machine (aeroponics) and share with you the tips and tricks that we have found to help us with results.
Experience has taught us that environment is one the most important aspects of indoor gardening. Our discussion will include simple and sophisticated environment set-ups. We will talk about hepa filters and charcoal filters and their benefits. We will also touch basis on lumens and light spectrums and the different benefits they have at different times of the plant’s life cycle.
Samples will be available that pertain to propagation and environment.
Class Two - March 23rd @ 6-8pm: Grow Media / Nutrients / Pest & Disease Control
For this class we will discuss the more common types of growing mediums that are used for indoor gardening including soil, coco, a mixture of both, or light soilless mixes. We will also talk about matching a person’s traits and personality to a medium that best suits their growing style for a maximized yield.
What nutrients should we use? We can’t answer this question for you but we can tell you the benefits of monitoring your ph, your ppms, and fluctuating nutrient ratios throughout the plants life to optimize yields.
We will talk about how to fight and prevent spider mites, thrips, fungus nats, powdery mildew, grey mold and other problems using revolutionary new products that are environmentally friendly as well as the traditional pesticides and fungicides.
Samples - you will have to come and see what kind of treats we will have.
Class Three - March 30th @ 6-8pm: Hydroponics / Nutrients / Harvest Sale
At In & Out Gardens we have lots of experience with Hydroponics. We will discuss a recirculating system that is affordable and suits our Oregon style of gardening. "Bigger is Better" We will also touch on other hydroponic systems and their pros and cons.
Hydroponic gardening gives you the capability to monitor and control your nutrient ratios and nutrient uptake. With these abilities you can tell how the plant is responding to what you are feeding and how much you are feeding. We will be talking from experience when we tell you the methods that we use to get optimal results.
At In & Out Gardens size matters including the size of your savings. We will have a storewide sale on all products. Come twist the boss's arm to see the size of your savings. Class and Sale start at 6pm.
Samples - more goodies will be available.
